Regional anaesthesia
Settings
How the regional block pages look and behave on this device. Your choices are kept in this browser only and apply to every regional page.
Look
The same pages and the same content in two looks. The app look has a tab bar along the bottom (a rail down the left on a wide screen) and softer shapes; the website look is the one used across anantf.com. Changes apply straight away.
- Automatic
- The app look when you open the block app from your home screen or its link, the website look otherwise. This is the default.
- App look
- Always the app look, with the tab bar and no NTF Anaesthesia website header.
- Website look
- Always the website look, with its header and breadcrumbs, whichever way you opened the pages.
Level of detail
How much each block page shows. The same buttons are in the bar at the top of every page.
The bar at the top
-
More of the page on a small screen. The bar slides away as you scroll down and comes back as soon as you scroll up, at the top of the page, and when you move to it with the keyboard. Off unless you turn it on.
Keyboard
-
On a page with a search box, the / key jumps to it (not while you are typing in a box). Turn this off if it gets in the way of your screen reader or other keyboard shortcuts.
- Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on a Mac)
- Search this page. Always on.
- ← →
- On a scan image or its step buttons: the previous or next step.
Add it to your home screen
Opened from the home screen, the regional blocks fill the whole screen with no browser bar, in the app look (see Look, above), like any other app. It still works without signal once you have opened the pages.
- iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome)
Open the menu (three dots), then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- This browser can install it now
App version
The regional pages work without signal once you have opened them. If a page looks out of date, get the latest version: your level and settings are kept.
